The SBS Creative Team...
Barb Hogan
My name is Barb Hogan and I live in Cincinnati Ohio. I’ve been married to my husband Andy for 14 years. We have an 8 year old daughter named Shannon, and a black lab named Olive.

By trade, I’m a decorative painter and own my own business, specializing in kids’ murals and faux finishes. Along with my day job, I also paint custom ceramics and have recently ventured into the world of professional photography.

I’ve been a scrapbooking nerd since I was 12, long before scrapbooking became popular. Yes, I’m the proud owner of many a scrapbook assembled with scotch tape and magnetic pages and I wouldn’t trade them or re-do them for the world! As times change, so do I and I've recently stepped into the world of digital scrapbooking, which I really love! I have had my work featured in many publications, including Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Ivy Cottage Creations, Simple Scrapbooks, Legacy and soon to be in Digital Scrapbooking Magazine. I'm thrilled to have received an honorable mention in the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame Contest for 2005.

When I'm not being creative, you can find me at the dojang, where I'm training for my black belt in taekwondo. Please come and visit my blog at www.barbhogan.blogspot.com to see what I'm up to every day!

Thanks to Dani for selecting me to be a part of the SBS team ~ I'm thrilled to be here and look forward to seeing what I can create!

*Note from Dani - I'm thrilled to have you Barb!!! Barb's pages are fun, funky, and absolutely inspiring. Wanna see her TwoPeas gallery? HERE. End note*

Kimberly Lund
Kimberly Lund has been paper scrapping since 2000, when she was planning a family trip to Walt Disney World. Prior to that she had a co-worker who scrapbooked and while planning, it dawned on Kim that she should also scrapbook the trip. She says, "Nothing like spending a couple thousand dollars to convince me that I need to preserve those memories."

In Fall of 2004, one of Kim's friends "revealed" she had started digital scrapping. "We were die hard paper scrappers, so this was a big deal," says Kim. After looking at her friend's layouts and realizing it was time for a change, Kim decided to try digital scrapping. Over one weekend, Kim followed tutorials and fell in love. Within a week, Kim had sold her paper supplies and become an all digital scrapper.

Photoshop Elements 3.0 is Kim's favored program for creating digital layouts. Her style is constantly changing, although she says, "Honest journaling and color will always be the first thing you notice in my layouts."

Kim has been married for almost 15 years and has 3 children: Brady, 11; Mykiah, 9; and Chesney, 5. She also has a Chihuahua mix, Hayden, who goes everywhere with her. During the school year, she teaches early childhood special education.

Kim's gorgeous layered style is instantly recognizable - her layouts are unique and her journaling superb! Check out her gallery at TwoPeas, and, of course, her layouts here at SomethingBlue! Thank you Kim!

Dani Mogstad
Dani Mogstad is new to the Digital Scrapbooking world, but it has been a perfect fit! She has always had a love of computer graphics. She started learning Photoshop when she was fifteen years old as a freshman in high school. By her senior year she spent two hours a day in the computer lab, learning all the ins and outs of the program. When she was eighteen she was hired as a typesetter for a local printing company. She worked there for a year and then decided to attend Utah State University where she studied Graphic Design. After getting married, Dani returned to work at the printing company were she was made Pre-press manager. She continued to work there until the birth of her daughter in February 2004.

Dani recently discovered Digital Scrapbooking in Spring 2005. She was instantly hooked and it was a very good fit for her: combining her love of computer graphics with her love of scrapbooking. She considers her style to be a "paper" digital style, and considers it very important to make the pictures the main focus. Her pre-press experience also has a lot of influence in her scrapbooking, she loves fonts and graphic titles. She is currently a Design Team member for www.4scrappindivas.com, where she is working to educate everyone on the joys of digital scrapbooking.

Dani is 24 years old and a SAHM to her favorite little subject Lexi, who is now 17 months old. She lives with her husband of four years in the beautiful Portland, Oregon.

Take a look at Dani's fantastic work over at TwoPeas - we couldn't believe she's only been digi for a few short months, and you won't believe it either! Really beautiful stuff. Thanks Dani!!
